Barry enjoys working with both our staff and customers to create gardens we can all be proud of. He will use his knowledge of plants and practical know how to make the experience of landscaping your property a satisfying one. He enjoys combining plants and stone to make naturalistic settings as well as the challenge of bringing precision to more formal and geometric gardens. Barry will interact with clients on site installations and have a hands-on approach in the day to day operations of the nursery. And as a certified "Maple Nut" he promises to always have just the right Maple for your yard!
Andrew S. Brodtman, B.L.A.
Owner, Senior Landscape Designer
Andrew is a graduate of the State University of New York's S.U.N.Y. College of Environmental Science & Forestry at Syracuse and has a degree in Landscape Architecture and Ornamental Horticulture. He has worked for many of New York's finest nurseries and has served clients by designing and drafting residential master plans. He has been on the staff at the Nursery since 1995.
Thomas H. Bodnar
Owner, Perennial/Rose Manager & Marketing Director
Tom is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Photographic Illustration. As a seasoned gardener, Tom enjoys laying out and designing successful perennial gardens for Twombly's customers. His own gardens reflect his interest in the late summer garden, roses, and daylilies. His photographs have been published in The New York Times, American Nurseryman and CT Magazine with articles appearing in Garden Center Merchandising, People, Places & Plants and local newspapers. He lectures on a variety of topics ranging from long blooming perennials and creative container gardening to the garden in Autumn and roses for the senses. Tom has been with Twombly Nursery since 1995.
