Twombly offers a variety of services including lectures, demonstrations and tours.

Lectures

On-Site
Twombly Nursery offers workshops and a lecture series featuring leading horticultural experts. All lectures are on Saturdays and begin at 11:00 a.m. Drawings for free plants are held at each lecture. Click here to see a schedule of upcoming lectures.

Off-Site
Twombly staff members are available to give talks and slide presentations to garden clubs, arboretums, horticultural societies and professional organizations on a number of topics.

Tours
Twombly's arboretum has acres of display gardens. Visitors may share in all that the nursery has to offer and while on the grounds, they are encouraged to take pictures, make notes, settle in for a picnic and meet with staff horticulturists. We provide tours to groups for a fee and invite garden clubs to hold their meetings on site. Slide lectures and luncheons are also available on an advance notice basis.
